PORT OF KIEL. Ostuferhafen is signposted on main roads in Kiel. At first, follow the signs stating "Fähre", "Ostufer" and later on "Ostuferhafen". Upon arrival, please navigate through the gate on lane 1 into the harbour area. Target for GPS: "Grenzstraße" postal code: 24149

Flughafen Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel Airport ( "="" target="_blank">https://www.hamburg-airport.de/en/index.php#) is located around 95km from the cruise port.
- If you have booked your flight via MSC, your transfer to the cruise terminal is already included. One of our multilingual staff will meet you at the exit of the airport and guide you to your bus, which will bring you directly to the terminal.
- If you have arranged a flight yourself, MSC Cruises offers you the possibility to book an individual airport transfer. The booking is made via your travel agency or our contact center, indicating the flight details (airline, flight route from / to, flight number, departure and arrival time).
- If you choose to continue by public transportation take the "Kielius" airport bus, which will take you directly to Kiel Central Station. The journey takes about 1.5 hours.
- Alternatively, take the city train S1 to Hamburg Central Station, from there take the Regional Express to Kiel, which departs every hour and requires about an hour journey. From the central station in Kiel, take our shuttle service to the Ostuferhafen terminal or take the bus line 11 (direction Dietrichsdorf) to stop Grenzstraße located 200 meters from the terminal Ostuferhafen.
- MSC Shuttle Service: On the day of embarkation we will provide you with a chargeable shuttle service from Kiel main station to the Ostuferhafen terminal for € 10, - per person / per line! The shuttle is continuous, from the first slot up to 4 hours before the ship's departure. The meeting point for embarking guests via train station will be at exit CAP (direction of the restaurant ‘Cabana’). Down the stairs (elevator available) at Kaistraße you will find the luggage drop off as well as the busses, both are marked with MSC beach flags.
- This service can be only booked on site at one of our hostesses. The cost will be charged to the onboard account. Concerning the disembarkation transfer the guests can buy it directly on board.
- Alternatively, you can use the public bus from Kiel main station line 11 (direction Dietrichsdorf) to stop Grenzstraße. After 200 meters walk you will reach the terminal Ostuferhafen.
