I Love MSC

10/10 HOLIDAY!!!

10/10 HOLIDAY!!!

My husband and I have just returned from MSC Divina out of Miami (7th Oct, 2017) cruising through Jamaica Cayman Cozumel and Bahamas.
10 out of 10 MSC Divina our captain Marcos was excellent very professional the food was great and I would recommend to anyone to buy the extra dining experiences Galaxy (Peter from India was excellent waiter) and Italia restaurants were first class with fantastic service and amazing tasting food.

We became quite friendly with the extremely hard working bar staff may we sincerely thank:
Nickel from Jamaica and also Peta, Togi, Rainan, Patrick and Filepe who served us in Italia and the main food court. She was beautiful.
Albert our room steward also did a fantastic job and got my ironing done as quick as he could, which was needed for the same night.
All the staff in the Black Crab (Alivcia) and cafe italia coffe lounge (Jonnell and Merrylice) were exceptional .
I would appreciate my prepaid gratuities to be split amongst all staff as I believe they are what makes the cruise a great experience.
The ship MSC Divina is stunning always immaculate and the maintenance and cleanliness is exceptional.

We will definitely be cruising on MSC again and would recommend this company to everyone!!

Thankyou MSC and all your hardworking crew!!

Kind regards

A Good News Story of Coincidence!

A Good News Story of Coincidence!

Hi all at MSC I would like to share a good news story of coincidence In 2009 our friends Joan and Tony joined my husband Chris and I on an amazing cruise aboard MSC Splendida. We all had such a fabulous time that we promised ourselves that our first MSC experience wouldn't be our last. Fast forward to 2016 and whilst thinking of ways for Chris and I to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary in October 2017 I realised that the only answer was to book another MSC cruise. After exploring all the options we decided to book a cruise on the Magnifica sailing on 29/10/2017, ensuring that we will be onboard for our anniversary on October 3rd.

A couple of months ago our friends Joan and Tony decided that it might just be a nice idea to meet us in italy following our cruise to join us for some time road tripping in italy. At that stage they had no intentions of booking a cruise. But as we talked more about our plans they decided that it would be fun to cruise with MSC again so joan contacted MSC yesterday to make some enquiries. After being told that there was only one cabin left in their preferred class and area Joan decided to book that cabin. Would you believe that the cabin Joan booked is directly next to the cabin that I had booked over seven months ago?

So now we are all excitedly looking forward to our next MSC experience together which was obviously "meant to be" We thought that you might enjoy hearing about our story of such an amazing coincidence with MSC Magnifica.

MSC Fantasia out of Genoa on 17 December 2015

MSC Fantasia out of Genoa on 17 December 2015

We cruised on MSC Fantasia out of Genoa on 17 December 2015. We occupied a suite which gave us Yacht Club status, something we did not really understand at the time of booking, but now know that we couldn't cruise with less standards.

The ship was superb; the personnel looking after us even more so. We give special mention to our butler Sata and his support personnel. To Annatolia  our concierge, a master of keeping everything under control and a true gentleman. To our head waiter Christof and his off-sider Daveesh, who did not let anything that mattered to us escape their attention. To our maitre'd Alfonso and to the chefs who catered for our every request. All these people were so professional and worthy of acclaim by both the passengers and employer.

We are so sorry that there were so many more people we would compliment but names have been forgotten but every waiter in the Yacht Club breakfast room gave exemplary service. We very much enjoyed the quality of entertainment every night. This cruise met and surpassed our every expectation and we will use this standard as our basis for future holidays.

In summary, MSC can take special approval that their personnel exude every aspect of their standards and we thank you all very much for such a wonderful experience.

Good afternoon MSC

Good afternoon MSC

This email is coming a bit late, however, I just wanted to thank you all in Sydney for the hard work you did in booking our Grand Voyage.

14 of us ended up travelling together, and had a fantastic time!! The weather was perfect, and the sea perfectly calm…even for the 6 sea days!
All of the staff on the ship were fantastic. Brian and I had travelled on Musica before, but all of the others totally enjoyed their first time experience.

So, looking forward to having another escape with MSC. We can’t recommend you highly enough.
Once again, thank you.

Susie, Bathurst NSW

Our trip was fantastic but I can't believe it is over already.

Our trip was fantastic but I can't believe it is over already.

Everyone had a wonderful time experiencing so many different experiences. The MSC cruise was magic and has definately changed my mind about cruises. I think we ate non-stop for the full week but if not eating we were having a few cocktails. Our rooms were fantastic with interconnecting balconies as well. It was a really great time as we were able to unpack our suitcases for a week and have some laundry done properly. The entertainment and food were magnificent. The boat itself was sparkly and still quite new feeling. There were so many options available to us for bars to go to or restaurants to eat at although we did eat mostly in the main dining room.

The staff couldn't be more helpfully and friendly. We even won money at the casino which helped pay for the extras we bought whilst on board. Sophie loved the Kids Club even though the videos were in Italian. She had several chances to put on their own show in the theatre for us all to come and see and she is a bit partial to a stage. Traveling for the time we were didn't allow for the clothing that you might normally take on a cruise (suits, shirts and ties etc) but we never felt underdressed even on the gala nights as there were many others in the same situation. The buffets was well stocked at all times with many, many options available to eat. The premium drinks package we took was really a great idea. It did allow everyone to get what ever they want at what ever time they wanted which was very convenient especially with Shannan & Jake on another deck from us.

It is lovely being about to travel as a family and experience so many new things together.

A 7 night Eastern Mediterranean cruise departing from Venice

A 7 night Eastern Mediterranean cruise departing from Venice

I was on board MSC Divina in 2012 in July for a 7 night Eastern Mediterranean cruise departing from Venice. There was almost nothing I could fault, crew members well always friendly, the ship was the largest and most impressive vessel I've been on and was kept spotless 24/7. Embarkation was a chaotic but very fast and we managed to board around 30 mins after arriving at the terminal. After finding our cabin, we were promptly guided by a passing white-gloved crew member to the buffet, what a first impression! And on the morning before docking at Katakolon in Greece, we asked a staff member concierge/reception about how to get to Olympia on our own, I was expecting him to try sell me the ship's excursions but he instead informed me of local bus operators near the docks which were significantly cheaper than a guided tour. Food in the sit down restaurants was mediocre, but the waiters still had impeccable manners. However this was not an issue since there were always plenty of choices at the buffet especially at lunch, and it wasn't as crowded as one might think since a good portion of the entire deck was dedicated to the buffet.

Entertainment was spectacular every evening in the theater, some of the shows would've been more fitting on Broadway instead of a cruise ship. Dance routine and performances got a bit repetitive but a different theme each night made up for it, and the spectacle doesn't really get boring even after 5 nights. Our cabin was what you would expect on a modern and large vessel, the Divina was a very new ship so the furnishings and fittings were a breath of fresh air. Though the public areas could be a bit gaudy. Nevertheless, our cabin was sometimes cleaned three times a day which was a pleasant surprise. Language wasn't an issue at all, everything is labelled in English and crew members all spoke passable English. Announcements were a bit annoying in 5 languages but that's not their fault. Also the constant attempts to sell us stuff got a bit tiring, though that's a very minor issue and didn't detract from the experience at all. The food was excellent, crew was impeccable, our cabin was well kept and the ship was magnificent. I boarded expecting a 'budget' experience since the price was so cheap but at no time did it feel like that. I can only imagine how well Yacht club passengers are treated. I had no hesitation in going back to MSC for my next European holiday.

I look forward to sailing with you in July aboard the MSC Preziosa!
