Hotel Service Charge
At MSC Cruises, exceptional guest service is our top priority. During cruising with MSC, guests meet staff throughout the ship who provide them with excellent service. They are supported by just as many staff and crew who work hard behind the scenes to ensure they enjoy every moment onboard.
The hotel service charge has become integrated into the total cruise price for all new bookings made from the 15 January 2024 from Winter 23/24 departures and onwards.
Bookings made prior to 15 January 2024 do not automatically include the Hotel Service Charge and will be payable prior to departure or onboard.
It does not apply to children less than 2 years old years of age old at the time of the cruise departure date and the rates are per person per day.

- If your booking was made prior to 15 January 2024, the Hotel Service Charge are not included in your total cruise price.
- For bookings made with a travel agent, please confirm with your agent regarding your Hotel Service Charge.

- From July 2nd, 2024 onwards, for cruises sailing to China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Caribbean and North America and for guests 2 years old above; guests with existing bookings confirmed before July 2nd, 2024, will not be impacted by this change.
- From July 2nd, 2024 onwards, for cruises sailing to South America, South Africa and Grand Voyages ; guests with existing bookings confirmed before July 2nd, 2024, will not be impacted by this change.
- From July 2nd, 2024 onwards, for MSC Yacht Club guests; guests with existing bookings confirmed before July 2nd , 2024, will not be impacted by this change.
